PayPal made it possible to
send money online. Decades
later, it had grown to process
billions of transactions of all
kinds. Taking place mostly on
the web, mobile payments
hadn't caught on. A missed
opportunity of about $10
billion a year in revenue.

At the same time, PayPal
had big plans. Like doubling
its users within five years
and increasing how often
they use PayPal—from twice
a month to twice a day. The
only way to create this kind
of change was to change
just about everything.

For many people, managing
money is the worst. So we came
up with a whole new PayPal
in the form of more than 250
smart contextual elements. All
working together to make interacting with money less
stressful and even enjoyable,
every day.
